Unlike traditional software services that harvest user content or require intrusive account registrations, DocsEngine operates as an ephemeral document processing engine. We process your documents strictly on-demand, deliver the converted result, and purge all data traces automatically within 2 hours.

2. What Information We Collect (and What We Don’t)

We Do NOT Collect:

  • We do NOT read, inspect, or retain the internal textual contents, images, or metadata of your documents.

  • We do NOT train machine learning, generative AI, or optical models on your submitted files.

  • We do NOT sell, rent, or monetize your documents or usage behavior to any third-party advertisers or data brokers.

Technical Information Collected for Operation:

During file processing, our system temporarily records technical transaction metadata: MIME type, file size in bytes, and execution duration. This metadata is strictly operational to complete your requested conversion and does not contain personal identity data.

3. Lifecycle of Uploaded Documents

When you submit a file to any DocsEngine tool (e.g. Compress PDF, Merge PDF, Word to PDF):

  1. Transit: Your file is uploaded over an encrypted HTTPS connection to an ephemeral isolated processing directory.

  2. Execution: The conversion engine performs the requested operation in temporary isolated scratch paths.

  3. Delivery: The completed output is saved with a randomized unique ID and made available for direct download.

  4. Automatic Deletion: Within 2 hours following creation, automated background cleanup routines permanently erase both the input files and output results from server disks.

4. Data Minimization & Privacy

Because DocsEngine does not link document submissions to personal accounts, user profiles, or tracking cookies, our processing architecture adheres to strict data minimization principles.

5. Infrastructure & Security Standards

All services are hosted in secure modern data centers. Access to server environments is restricted by firewall policies and modern security practices.
